The other weekend while I was up in NJ/NY for Young-Hae & Timmy’s wedding, Wayne Yuan and I had the chance to meet up with Jeff Lau. We hit up Brooklyn Diner, which is actually located in Manhattan… interesting. Their chicken pot pie is ridiculous. Reminds me of the Southern cooking back home in the good ol’ ATL.
Wayne and I ended up talking some more shop and trying out a Q-flash setup that I picked up over the past year. Take a look at the sick shot he took using the Q-flash setup on the wedding day (+more here):

This setup requires one Q-flash at full power (in front), and an edge light using another flash (to the right). Both of these lights are triggered using PocketWizards. The camera settings are set to a low ISO, aperture between f/11-16, and dragging the shutter a bit to pull in the color.
