Greenleaf @ Artomatic

Took a quick break from the usual and ventured out to Artomatic in DC to hear some sweet live music from my buddy Alex. I originally heard Alex and Morana singing a version of Lucky at my last wedding and was intrigued to get some more licks from their band Greenleaf. My take? Their fusion of piano/guitar/cello/bass and some jazzy measures are nicely parlayed into a set of cover tracks. The best track of the night was probably a single drafted up by Alex himself.
