What’s new?

So what’s going on in our little world?

We’re in full production mode right now. Culling your images. Editing down sessions. Blogging (occasionally). And trying to prepare ourselves for more upcoming travel in this last quarter (LA, NYC, ATL, and Playa del Carmen to name a few).

In the meantime, our dedicated and awesome friends over at Miller’s Professional Imaging having been delivering on our custom products. We couldnt be more pleased with their delivery of a custom 20×30 print order for one of our clients. The print has been topped with a matte finish and mounted on a 3/4″ Foam Board.

Additionally, we’ve been receiving Custom DVD Portfolios which are delivered to each of our clients with their sessions. The Custom DVD Portfolios are beautifully printed on matte paper and skinned to the case, while select images are injected into a custom layout and directly printed onto the DVDs.

Recently, a couple of us took a quick spin over the golden coast of California. A 3-day-round-trip trek from Los Angeles to Monterey provided the perfect backdrop and retreat for easing the soul. We marinated in wine, took in some golf at Pebble Beach, and soaked in some golden rays. In the spirit of providing a pseudo travel magazine feel, the following is a 12-page spread drafted using the images from the trip. Enjoy.

And I’m back from a mid-summer hiatus to the coast of California. A three-day spin up Highway 1 to breathe in some coastal breeze, garner some inspiration, and soak the old bones in some beautiful red wine. From LA to Santa Barbara to Big Sur to Monterey… the landscape is quite something. By the way, our newly acquired D3s is a beauty at night. (Note: Night shots taken sans tripod).

A Night with the Travel Channel | DC

We had the distinct honor of joining the Travel Channel and the Global Explorers as they celebrated a Night with the Travel Channel, benefiting and supporting a greater cause. The Global Explorers Compass program is simply an outstanding partnership between the Travel Channel and Global Explorers for providing an eye-opening experience to bright young explorers in the DC area. The group of twenty from local DC middle schools and high schools have the awesome opportunity to experience Costa Rica this summer and realize the power of travel and catching the “travel bug”.
